Texo UKCS in Joint Venture with A.C.E on ACFM
Texo Drone Survey & Inspection (UKCS) Ltd, the dedicated offshore services arm of Texo DSI Ltd and Aberdeen based, offshore inspection service company Air Control Energy, a subsidiary of the Air Control Global Group, are extremely pleased to announce the commencement of an extensive joint venture R & D project for the development of a new ACFM (Alternating Current Field Measurement) UAV integrated inspection and weld fatigue detection system.
The new system will be able to undertake full flaw and fatigue detection on multiple surfaces and welds, minimising risk of exposure to rope access personnel whilst increasing inspection efficiency.
Commenting on the JV, Texo Group Chief Operations Officer, John Wood said: “This is an exciting and innovative collaboration, between two companies who thrive and pride themselves on bringing innovative UAV integrated systems to its clients.
